Rare round-trip airmail cover flown on both the outbound and return legs of the historic 1935 China Clipper flight. Originated in San Francisco with November 22 postmark and franked with two 25 transpacific airmail stamps. On arrival in Manila, it was re-franked with Philippine Initial Flight overprints and postmarked December 2 for the return flight to San Francisco. Includes both U.S. and Philippines postal markings, two route cachets, and a clear boxed return handstamp on reverse. An exceptional example of early transpacific postal history. SKU: 6361-45190-14
