Historic 1928 Graf Zeppelin cover postmarked October 28 at Lakehurst, New Jersey, and addressed to Ireland. This card-format cover features six different U. S. stamps, including the 20c and 15c issues, all clearly tied by duplex cancels. Purple boxed cachet at left reads "Via Graf Zeppelin Airship LZ-127 / Lakehurst, N. J." Reverse bears a Rosbercon, Ireland receiver dated 8 November 1928, along with a full handwritten message from the sender referencing the stamps. A rare and visually striking Zeppelin item with scarce Ireland destination.
