Flown aboard the inaugural transpacific Pan Am China Clipper flight on November 22, 1935, this cover is franked with a vertical pair of 25 Winged Globe airmail stamps. Boldly hand-addressed and routed Via Guam Angon, it features the classic green cachet depicting the aircraft and sailing ship, marked San Francisco (Alameda Airport) to Guam. Postmarked in San Francisco with a machine cancel and bearing a large Via Air Mail handstamp. A colorful First Flight cover on red, white, and blue bordered airmail stationery.
