1967-68 $3 Federal Duck Stamp (Scott RW34) featuring a striking pair of Old Squaws (now known as Long-tailed Ducks) resting on an icy shoreline. The artwork is by Minnesota wildlife painter Leslie Kouba, who was known for capturing natural light and texture in his bird studies. This example is Mint Never Mint Never Hinged (MNH) with outstanding centering, but has a small stain in the left margin. Full original gum.
