Pheasant License Stamps

California issued Pheasant License Stamps from 1970 through 1975, all designed by artist Paul Johnson. These stamps were required in addition to a hunting license to pursue pheasants during that period. Examples exist mint, used, and artist-signed, and prints were also produced.
