Fort Belknap

The Fort Belknap Indian Reservation in Montana began issuing wildlife stamps in 1996. Most carry red serial numbers and were used on tribal hunting, fishing, and camping licenses. Issued in low quantities, the stamps include striking horizontal designs such as Bow & Arrow and Prairie Dog, often featuring vivid imagery tied to Gros Ventre and Assiniboine traditions.
