Zuni Pueblo

The Zuni Indian Reservation in New Mexico began issuing wildlife stamps in 1995 through an annual design contest open to tribal members. The winning entries, often signed by the artists, feature bold and colorful scenes of Southwestern wildlife. Originally used for hunting and fishing licenses, these stamps are now prized for their beauty and strong cultural connection to the Zuni people.
