Standing Rock Sioux

The Standing Rock Sioux Reservation began issuing hunting and fishing stamps in 1992, with gummed and rouletted designs later printed in strips and booklets. Stamps were color-coded early on, then later printed in black or multi-color based on season and classification. Issued for both tribal members and non-members, these stamps often included long tabs and varying paper types. Located in North and South Dakota, Standing Rock's rich wildlife and cultural history make these tribal conservation issues desirable to collectors.
