Rosebud Sioux
The Rosebud Sioux Indian Reservation has a long tradition of issuing tribal fish and game stamps, beginning in 1959. Located in south-central South Dakota, the reservation provides hunting and fishing opportunities for both tribal members and non-residents. Over the decades, Rosebud became one of the most prolific issuers of Native American license stamps, with a wide range of formats, printings, and paper types spanning more than 40 years.
