Wind River

First issued in 1995, Wind River Reservation Recreation Stamps were required for fishing access and issued jointly by the Shoshone and Arapaho Tribal Fish and Game Department. Printed annually with only the date changed, these stamps came in panes of five and were available exclusively through tribal offices near Fort Washakie, Wyoming. Serving both Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho communities, the Wind River Reservation covers 2.2 million acres and remains an important site for tribal fishing regulation and conservation licensing.
