Lower Brule

The Lower Brule Sioux Tribe of South Dakota has issued a striking series of tribal hunting and fishing stamps. These official tribal stamps were used to regulate waterfowl and game hunting privileges for both tribal members and non-members. Most feature vivid, full-color wildlife artwork with scenic depictions of geese, elk, and native landscapes along the Missouri River. Each stamp is numbered, with separate values for resident, non-resident, and out-of-state hunters.
